My payment was not deducted after ordering an iPhone

I ordered an iPhone for my friend in Austin, TX for Christmas. I entered his address and his phone number, but paid using my card (I'm in India, paid via an Indian bank's card). My payment has not been deducted yet, and under order details > payment summary it reads "Pay in full with: VISA ****XXXX" and "Bills to: <my friend's name>". I don't remember seeing a payment on delivery option, and now I am afraid since it reads my friend's name under "bills to", he will have to pay. Am I missing something here? I can't even talk to the customer care since it is a US based number and I am in India.
