How can I adjust the bass on the sound?

If you’re using iPhone and listen to Apple Music - go to Preferences, Apple Music, there will be EQ. You may choose any setting in there, that will fit you.

If you are using Mac, and listen the same Apple Music, then open Apple Music App, in Menu Bar should be a “Window” where you may find the same EQ and set it as you wish.
