USB-C to USB-A adapter

I have an iPad mini 6 with USB-C. What adapter can I use to plug into a USB-A power supply? (I bought one but it only works for data)

You should generally avoid the use of USB adapters with USB-C. Instead, use a “certified” charging/data cable - as these contain circuitry that will protect the attached device (in this case, your relatively expensive iPad) from damage.

You will require a USB3 Type-A to USB-C cable. These are available from good computer stores. Here is one example marketed by Apple:

  • mophie USB-A Cable with USB-C Connector (1 m)
