Calories burned

Do any of these watches have the ability to calculate your calories burned just by wearing the watch and doing everyday activities not specific exercises,? I'm in a wheelchair so can't do regular exercises. Sort of a built in calorimeter I guess? I have memory issues so if you could email me the answer directly that would be great.

Thanks. I'm just trying to determine the best watch for my wants and needs. Basically one meant for wc users, can calculate calorie expenditure (even if I only just wear the watch and not do a specific exercise program) fall detection. I'm not sure what else. Those are what's most important to me

To see the total calories burned for the day first, tap on the Activity app (and History at the bottom left corner if not already selected - then select a day). Then swipe left in the "Move" section to not show the graph and show the Active and Total calories. (Swipe right to return to the graph.). Or, you can use the Health app - tap on Activity.

According to What is the difference in "active cal… - Apple Community

Total calories include - basal calories + calories burned when doing a workout. Active calories are those that are burned during some activity like swimming running or anything else where your body is moving, Basal are those that your body burns during a day without any activity.

The watch will keep track of both types of calories thru the Fitness and Health apps on the paired iPhone.

FYI, there are wheelchair customizations. See the last paragraphing the 'Stand' section of:

Use the Activity app on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

And the 'Wheelchair' section in:
