Feature no longer works—doesn’t convert to typed text. Immediately a popup for markup which let’s you select type of drawing and use Pencil but this is not the Scribble feature “Use Apple Pencil to handwrite in any text area to convert it into type.” Only option is to use in Markup / as a Drawing. Works in Reminder and actually here.

to show the Markup toolbar.
(to the left of the pen).So make sure that you're selecting the right tool in Markup before you start to write.

Thank you so very thoughtful much didn’t know that was the handwriting tool on the left next to the pen.
