iPad Pro Battery
Good afternoon, I bought the 11-inch iPad Pro. My question is regarding the battery, is it normal that from 93% of battery is lowered to 68% for about an hour of use? In my opinion it is not a good performance. Use the Keynote app to take notes in class. I don't know if I should call customer service if it's not normal. Thanks a lot
As described, battery utilisation is perhaps greater than you might normally accept. However, high screen brightness and/or high CPU loading will increase battery consumption.
Sometimes processes can stall and lead to excessive battery use. In such situations, a forced restart can resolve the issue:
- On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
- On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
If the problem persists, you might be best advised to seek assistance directly from from Apple Support - and request a remote diagnostic test. You can contact the Support Team using the Get Support link at top-right of this page. Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
