Why isn’t my touch working on the screen?!

It’s not wet, I took the screen protector and case off amd I can’t use my screen at all. I’ve tried pressing the buttons in sequence to force shut off and that doesn’t work either.

Try Force restarting your iPhone 8 again and Exactly as shown below:

Press and hold both the volume down button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time. Continue to hold those buttons until the Apple logo appears, release both buttons. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
