Apps not showing in launchpad
Not all installed apps in the application folder show up in launchpad? What to do do to repair or solve this? I'm on the new M1 max MBP, 64 Gb. On Intel mini's (~2015) no problem.

This is a bug I've seen in the launchpad since the beginning. It has since improved, but if I relocate Apps into their own subfolders of the application folder that weren't installed, frequently the launchpad will ignore them.
There are also Apps that let you manage the Launchpad, and Apps that are their own Launchpad on the Apple Store that are more flexible.

@a brody,
tnx for the answer. I always doubt myself thinking it's something I do. But knowing it's a well known bug for years, helps my confidence, haha. Will be trying some of your suggestions shortly.
