Mapping my walks

I cannot get my Apple Watch to show the map of my walk. All I see is my location in one spot and not the map of why whole walk.

Apple Watch 3 and Fitness App Outdoor Walk Map I have an Apple Watch 3 (GPS) linked to my iPhone 12 Pro Max. When I look at the Fitness App information about my outdoor walk each day, I can see a very nice map of where I walked - until a week ago. Now, huge portions of my walk are missing from the map. The distance is still recorded correctly but "segments" of my walk are missing on the map. This used to be fine but a week ago this started happening. My understanding is that though the Watch has a GPS sensor, it uses the GPS sensor in the iPhone. Is this a problem with the Watch or the iPhone? It seems really weird.

Apple Watch gps walk path on map. How to have Apple Watch 6 os 15.x show daily walk path on a city map? (iPhone se2020). -location is on -workout has always been set -heart rate and pulse are allowed -more I could list but the option (previously this was answered after following the steps as ‘it will show up on your phone/watch as a thumbnail when tapping workout>outdoor walk,’ but it doesn’t. Also, is there an ‘easy button’ option in the works to where it’s not so cumbersome on such expensive devices and data plans? Thx in advance I’d just rly like to see where all I’ve walked on a map to help stay motivated.
