It doesn't work on M1 macbook 14" 2021 with Monterrey? I try to connect my iMac late 2013 21" to My new M1 macbook 14" but it doesn't works.

Unfortunately, TDM doesn't work with the new Silicon Macs or any Mac running higher than 10.15 Catalina.

Target Display Mode (TDM) is toast. Buy a quality 32-inch display and connect your 14" MacBook Pro to it with a 4K@60Hz HDMI cable.
