Profiles/MDM
I have recently begun to frequently get a message on my personally-owned MacBook Pro that says:
"Profiles/MDM wants to make changes."
How can I get rid of this?

What happens when you click on them? Any new info in them?
Try:
Manually update and remove configuration profiles
The Provisioning one may a have been added by an app and maybe the Infinity one too.
Do you remember what app was installed right before they appeared?
If you go to About this Mac>Overview>System Report>Software> if you click on Installations you can find app listed alphabetically together with initial install date and update dates.

I got the Mac from the Apple store years ago. There are two profiles... XFINITY under User and iMovie_27_Sep under Provisioning
This is a new occurrence.
Where/from whom did you obtain your Mac?
In System Preferences is a Preference pane label Profile or siilar?
It appears you ac is controlled by some entity like a school or employer.
