Calendar: 'SEARCH FIELD'

When using the 'search field' on the calendar on both of the office Macs nothing shows up that has been searched for but, I can do this on my phone and iPad.

Any advice regarding this problem would be welcomed, as we use our calendar on a daily basis.

All my devices are on the same iCloud-if this helps?
