Old apple 7 iPhone

I had an old apple 7 iPhone that has not been used in over 2 years. Verizon now has the phone as a trade in. They state that the find my phone is turned on. However that phone is not listed any longer on my list of phones. Is there any way to turn it off?

Plug it in to charge, and access the phone Settings to turn off Find My directly. It may be associated with a different Apple ID than the one you are currently using so would not appear in devices for the Apple ID you are currently using.
