delay in receiving text messages

Report the issue to your phone carrier sms is their feature.

My personal iPhone also has this issue sometimes too, I called my carrier T-Mobile and they told me that it simply could be that my connection is somewhat having a delay. It is a noticeable delay swell from my MacBook and my iPhone (my MacBook receives the messages a few seconds first). Hope this helps!
