How do I reduce my iCloud storage

I’m being charged $2.99 a month for storage I don’t need. How do I remove and cancel this?

Cancel upgraded iCloud storage by downgrading to the free 5GB plan. See instructions in: Downgrade or cancel your iCloud+ plan - Apple Support
