When I receive a call my Iphone rings at the set level which is good for me to here it but after the first ring it drops in volume to the point when I can hardly hear it. This has only just started so have I done something wrong? I've been through most of the settings and the volume is shown as maximum. Can anybody help me here?

Hello Stedman: Thanks for your reply but the question was actually for my wife. She has an XS Max which has the Face ID feature so I checked it out and lo and behold the feature was there. I turned it off (no idea how it got turned on) and now it works perfectly. Thanks for your help, really appreciate it..

Sorry, I may have not paid enough attention to your post. If you have an iPhone 8, as shown in your signature, the Attention Aware feature wouldn’t be available, as it requires a device with Face ID.
