Yes. However, make sure there is enough airflow around it and in the back. Putting it in an enclosed compartment may inhibit airflow and cause overheating.

Mac Studio Storage Can Apple still upgrade my Mac Studio storage after I have already purchased? And no I am not talking about me opening it up and changing it myself. No I’m not talking about external storage. I’m talking about my base model max studio and taking it back to Apple and have them reconfigure/upgrade my storage.
