Chrome PDF not opening into new tab post iOS 15 updates

Not sure which update it started, but now the majority of PDFs on Chrome try and download, instead of opening into a new tab. It use to work perfectly, but it seems like the engineers decided to overthink things and forgot about us the end users that actually pay for this stuff, and don’t get it supplied to us.
