The transfer is a COPY process unless you accepted the offer to erase the old phone,
Is the old phone erased?
If not then transfer to the correct phone and erase the other new phone.
If you wiped the old phone then set it up using Quick Start from the new phone. IE do the same setup the other way round.
Hopefully you backed up the old phone which is a second way to get the data back.
