Apple Watch Charging Adapter

How irritating and frustrating is it that Apple sells you a $400 watch with a cord without a charging adapter so you can plug it in...and they don't even tell you you'll need one nor are their instructions in the box about it, or any information indicating what type of adapter to get? Just so annoying! Got home from the Apple store and couldn't even charge the watch!

just got a new Apple Watch 7 First of all it doesn't come with a charging brick and the end of the charging cable is different than my old watch. Question is what kind of charging brick do I need and second can I use my old Apple Watch charger and cable to charge it? What a rip off not including the charging brick with the price you have to pay for the watch.
