Apple ID payment method is declined
what do I need to do if all my apps that I need to update are free but my payment method still won’t go thru and says declined when I try to update my FREE apps?

You may need to have a payment method on file, even if the app you want to download is free.
Check which payment method you have on file
If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store
