Popped the sim tray and it was empty? How do I solve. ?

Must I remove the sim card from my old phone to put in to my Apple 13?

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! As noted in the following article "If you get a new iPhone and your old SIM card won't fit, contact your carrier to move your account to the SIM card that came with your iPhone. Or ask how to get a new SIM card if your iPhone didn't come with one."
