How can I downgrade from macOS Monterey to macOS High Sierra?

I recently upgraded to Mac OS Monterey and I do not like it. Is there any way I can revert back to Mac OS Sierra?

Yes, one possible workaround fo some newer files, but nothing automatic...

Is to get another external drive, install HS to that drive, boot from the new external drive holding Option key on startup... see if you can scrounge around & retrieve any less than year old files...

Find Any File...

http://apps.tempel.org/FindAnyFile/index.php

Hold Option or alt key when selecting Find to Find All.

In Home folder of the Monterey install.

I do have a time machine backup but it is from about a year ago. Will I lose all files that were not backed up since I last ran time machine. I should have ran a time machine backup before I did the upgrade but I did not think about it prior to the upgrade.
