How do I duplicate a document using Pages?

Using Pages for Mac, you could:
Save the document, then
Save a copy of the document.
Or you could:
Save the document.
In Finder, locate and select the file (single click).
In the File menu, xhoose Duplicate.
DFinder will create a duplicate of the document and make a small change to the file name to enable it to be saved in the same location as the original.

With the document closed long press the file and select Duplicate from the pop up box.
