New Mac Studio won't recognize Dell Monitors
Bought a Mac Studio and can't get the system to recognize a pair of Dell monitors. Using the thunderbolt 2 to USB-C adapters ($50 each!). It recognizes a Benq USB-C monitor. Any help would be appreciated.

that display:
Connectivity
DisplayPort in
Mini DisplayPort
DisplayPort out
HDMI (MHL)
so the first one can be hooked up with a certified High Speed HDMI cable (not just the one from your TV set) direct to the HDMI 2.0 out on the Mac studio and get 60Hz refresh rate.
The second can be hooked up with a USB-C to DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort adapter and cable.
That ThunderBolt-3 <-> ThunderBolt-2 adapter can not be used for those displays. It does not support Mini DisplayPort, at all, even with additional adapters. ThunderBolt-2 ONLY, and your displays are NOT ThunderBolt-2.

specifics please:
what model(s) dell display?
Exactly what adapter are you using?
This one:
Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter
-- works ONLY for genuine ThunderBolt devices on each side. No other types of displays are supported, even with additional adapters.
Dell P2715Q
Yes - the apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter
Can I use two USB-C to DisplayPorts rather than a mix? Or is better to use the HDMI to keep another USB-C port available?
sure.
I have no great love for HDMI. I only suggested it because you might be able to hook it up today and get a picture right away.
