Macbook Won't Let Me Log In with Apple ID

I have a Macbook Air, and, following an update several months ago to Monterey, my computer will no longer allow me to sign in with my Apple ID in Settings so I can't access iMessage, FaceTime, etc. I tried to resolve the issue, but I got frustrated and other things took priority.

Here are all the things have tried/confirmed:

-It's not an issue with my Apple ID/Password. I'm able to login with no issue on all other devices, iCloud, etc.

-I still can't log in when using Safe Mode.

-The computer has been restarted numerous times.

-I've changed my password, and it didn't help.

-I set up another administrator account on my computer. I WAS able to successfully login with my Apple ID on that account.

I'm not sure what it means that it's just the main administrator account that won't let me log in. How can I resolved this?

Alternatively, would it just be easier to transfer all my information/preferences/etc. to a new administrator account?
