my phones stuck in sos mode, black screen, can't reboot

my phone is stuck in sos mode and black screen. I can't reboot it as it sends an sos call



iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 15

I don’t think it has anything to do with your SIM card. I think it just needs to be force-restarted:


  • Press and quickly release VOLUME UP
  • Press and quickly release VOLUME DOWN
  • Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears (15-30 seconds), ignoring "slide to power off" if it appears


The operative word here is QUICKLY; and try it a couple of times, the timing is a little tricky.
