Finder Show Path Bar

Is there a way to set the finder to ALWAYS show the path bar?

Monterey 12.4

iMac 21.5″, macOS 12.4

Open Finder, go to the view menu and turn on "Show Path Bar". Hope this was useful.

Finder Toolbar in Monterey I delayed as long as possible to give up 32-bit apps I occasionally used, but finally gave up and migrated from Mojave to Monterey. Somewhere between those versions, the Finder Toolbar was changed to require the inclusion of the current path and forces it to be far to the left. This means that multiple Toolbar items are often always invisible without extra clicks. Is there any way to remove that item from the Toolbar or move it to the far right -- or at least to the right of items I use all the time?

Access to Finder in the top center of Application Window This is happening in quick time, but I think other app windows are affected as well. clicking this down arrow next to the filename in the top center of the app window is supposed to provide access to a finder control. The WHERE drop down is blogged by tags. What is the procedure for opening the finder control without putting the tags in the way?
