Can’t forward articles from apple news
I was able to select the icon at top of page on my older iPad Pro and email or message an article. Now it goes to the address and becomes stalled. It will not respond to any typing input.

Force close the app by going to the App Switcher.Swipe up to force close the app.
Switch between apps on iPad - Apple Support
If that doesn't work restart your iPad.
