Hiding Mail Counter on the Mail App

I am receiving much different spam mail from different mail addresses and hence I would like to hide the counter. Every time I open the mail app, I see a counter showing 2, 3, 5 or 6 mails I need to delete them many times in a day and It is too distracting.

I'm not sure if that can be disabled.

However if you're just deleting junk mail anyways, consider setting up mail rules that will automatically delete them for you: Use rules to manage emails you receive in Mail on Mac - Apple Support.

I have already done it, but it cannot get rid of junk mail even though all four conditions are met. In each mail, it says the mail app thinks this is junk mail. And I am like "Move it to junk then, why are you showing it me?" Since I am blocking each sender there is no way it can be my previous recipient/contact. They all do not address my full name as well. So all four met each time, but it does not work basically.
