Maps volume too quiet

Is there a way to independently increase the volume in maps that does not adjust the sound of the music I’m listening to from my phone?

When I’m driving my phone is synced to the car via Bluetooth, I have directions on radio selected and in the Maps app I always select the highest volume available while in route. However the navigation voice is basically whispering and I can’t hear it for the most part unless I decide to blast my music. I’m usually listening either to Apple Music or Amazon Music. I have the same issue while listening to audiobooks both through the Books app and through the Audible app. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
