It doesn't matter as they are indistinguishable.

Whether it’s new or refurbished is at Apple’s discretion per the terms of the warranty.

In most instances, an iPad replaced under warranty or an active AppleCare+ plan, will be a reconditioned device of the same model and specification.

Warranty or not, Apple reserve the right to replace with a refurbished iPad…
