Apple ID reset problems for computer

My MacBook Air has locked my password and I am unable to access my computer Home Screen. Also, I have tried to reset my computer several times but it still won’t allow me to login. It keeps saying something is wrong with the Apple ID network or something but I have put in my Apple ID multiple times and it still won’t allow me to access my computer.
