RAVPower External SSD on MacBook Pro (14-inch 2021)

I cannot access my password-protected RAVPower External SSD (RP-UM003) on my new MacBook Pro (but It worked fine on my previous MacBook Pro 13"). The drive is recognized and I am able to open the basic files that came on the drive, but the RAVPower app gives the message, "Your RAV Portable SSD is not connected to any device." I already tried reinstalling the software that came with the drive, and then the software from the RAVPower website.
