Apple CarPlay - text notification too loud in Honda

When I connect my iPhone 13 to my Honda CRV, and I receive a text message, the “boop-boop-boop” that occurs is at top volume regardless of my settings.

Whenever I try to find solutions for this problem, I find answers on how to make Siri less loud or change the other volume options. None of those apply.

Siri can be speaking at her quietest and my music and everything else can be on the lowest volume, but if I receive a text, the three loud beep notification that I did not select and don’t have on my phone in any other capacity will make me jump due to its insane volume.

I’d love to find the real solution here. This is my second Honda in a row where I’ve been unable to fix this despite being tech savvy and spending considerable time toward seeking a solution.
