compromised Security

if my apple account has been Compromised can there be information saved on my account from someone that compromised it? can that info be moved onto other devices if I sign in with that account. in other words do I need a new Apple account from scratch? and will I lose all my information from my previous Account?

Hello twinmomcd,

If someone gained access to your iCloud account (they would need to know your Apple ID and Password), they could add or remove your stored data.

I would suggest making a stronger password and enabling two-factor for your Apple ID.

The following Apple Support documents may help:

-> If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support

-> Security and your Apple ID - Apple Support

-> Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support
