Macbook user login photo randomly changed without me changing it

I opened my macbook and I saw my user photo changed to a .... tennis ball? I did not make this change.

The only reason it could have changed that I can think of - is because earlier today, on my iphone, which is the same icloud as my macbook, I updated my contact information to include my home address so I could have it on the maps for navigation. I never setup a photo for my icloud so maybe it autogenerated my no photo to a premade photo upon an update of my contact? I am baffled.
