iMessages won’t turn on

My iPhones iMessage just randomly stopped working, when I go to try and turn it back on it says activation unavailable. How do I get my iMessages back on?

iMessage iMessage hasn’t been working, says “waiting for activation” for about 3 days, I have turned off and on my phone, toggled off the iMessage, phone is up to date on it’s update. Not sure what else to do and why it isn’t working.
