All of a sudden my watch will not swipe up and down from home screen so I can't see news, email or battery life. Why won't it swipe up and down?

Thanks for your offer to help. I just contacted Apple Support and we had to restart the watch. I was having trouble with the side button but finally got it to restart and problem is solved.
