Ios16 update causes ear speaker to not work with phone calls

Having the exact same issue and was hoping I would find some tech response to it.. I have been using the speaker in the interim

And what did Apple support have you do when you contacted them that didn't work?

I still havent heard from apple support.. waiting patiently
