Pairing Apple Watch

Ok so I’m trying to pair my Apple Watch to my phone and watch needs an update. I hit the update and it tells me unable to update because I’m not connected to the internet.. i double checked internet connection and I’m connected to home internet. What else can I check or do

Can’t update Apple Watch When I try to update my watch from my phone it always tells me that my phone “is not connected to the internet” so it can’t update my watch. And when I’m connected to wifi it does the same thing. If it does semi try to connect it takes forever to load the software update.

Trying to pair my apple watch I’ve been trying to pair my Apple Watch series three but it says it needs an update in order to pair, when I try to update it says it can’t update because it’s not connected to internet.. What can i do to fix this?
