Brightess problem
getting brightness dim but in settings it is actually full facing this problem in iphone 12 pro max & iphone13 pro

Perhaps you have your AutoBrightness option enabled in Settings>Accessibility>Display & Font Size.... (scroll down to the last option at the very bottom).
or the device(s) are self protecting against overheating.
