Unremovable smudge on iPhone 13 pro screen

I have a smudge on the right side of 13 pro screen where I scroll that I am unable to remove. Is this a screen defect?

Hard for anyone to diagnose from their sofa. If you are concerned it's a screen issue, schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and options.
