Is "No SIM" shown on the top-left corner of your screen. So, go here to fix that: If you See 'invalid SIM' or 'no SIM' on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Contact your Carrier, as their are the one who provide you with the service of configuring the SIM card:

About 5G:

5G is not yet available everywhere. In places you do not see it, it has yet to be released. Likely, you'd see 4G, elsewhere.
