I am trying to update my apps but when I do so it says it needs my Apple ID password. I have verified that I am inputting the correct password. I tried pressing the forgot password button but it shows a different Apple ID than the one I am signed into.

Put in the password to the Apple ID it's asking for, or delete and redownload the applications you're trying to update; it's stored inside them.

Apps are linked to the Apple ID that was used when they were originally downloaded. You will need to use the password for that Apple ID.
