Is there a way that I can get a log of the calls I made on Oct 14th? My call log only goes back to Oct 24th

Contact your carrier. Most major carriers have a website that will allow you to log on look at activity for the last 3 months, 6 months etc.

Ask your network provider for a detailed printout.
If your oldest entry in Recents in Phone app is after Oct 14 then it will not be anywhere on the phone or iCloud
