I always use a gift card whenever I purchased things from Apple. I’m trying to use family share to share. Purchased items with a family member. But it wants me to put in a credit card information. Do I have to do that?

You need to put in a payment method other than a gift card. Family member purchases can't be charged to the organizer's store credit.

I always use a gift card whenever I purchase anything from Apple. I am wanting to share my purchases with my family members through family share. Do I have to put a credit card on my account to be able to do that?
