You should not need to enter it on the Roku TV. If you went to https://activate.apple.com the website should offer a place to enter the 6 digit code.
If you signed in directly on the Roku TV with your Apple ID, you may need to enter the 6 digit code in the password field along with your Apple ID password. If your password is "pass123" and the code is "456789" then enter "pass123456789" into the password field.
