iPad renewed

Looking at some renewed iPads on Amazon. Wondering if 2018 renewed iPad or iPad 2 renewed would still be supported by apple, like get software updates and be able to play newer games/apps on it? Looking to get an iPad but I know after so long some iPads no longer do updates. But I just didn’t know if they were renewed if that makes a difference. Don’t want to waste money on an iPad we won’t be able to do updates on. Thanks.

Get the largest internal data storage model you can afford as NO Apple iOS device has ANY expandable storage.
