Can I remove the album-cover images at the top of a playlist window?

Is it really necessary for the top half of playlist windows to be occupied by an image of the representative album cover/s plus tons of white space? I just want to see the song list, for crying out loud. [It's the same if I "open in new window," btw (scroll down).]

Many thanks to anyone who can help!

Nick, That is the way it has been designed for the last few years, and I can tell you that many people on this Forum don't like it. However, there is no way to adjust the header size. The best that can be done is to make the window as tall as possible so the header is taking less percent of the available space.
